I am 84 years old and have spent a lifetime becoming.
After a long life of learning, working, loving, losing, adapting, and growing, I arrived at retirement with something unexpected: more than I need and a desire to give something back.
The Red Lotus Way was born from that place.
As an offering.
A small effort to put a little more warmth, humor, comfort, and connection into the world.
What do I have to share? I spent 50 years in Silicon Valley as computer programmer, technical writer, teacher, and instructional designer. I then spent three years in the Peace Corps as a business technical volunteer. In the 90’s I built dozens of websites; now with the help of AI, I am learning WordPress and other modern applications so that I can contribute again. I am by no means currently a professional website designer, but I can build you something to get you going.
Current Projects
RosenFit.Com – Clayton has been a professional personal trainer for 15 years but has always worked for a gym. Now he’s gearing up to go into business for himself, but that’s a scary thing to do. The Red Lotus Way will carry him at no charge for a year or more, and I build his website at a pace we are both comfortable with. When he is ready to go live, The Red Lotus Way will continue to maintain and host his website until he is ready to go it alone.
Jake is a young man working very hard to succeed as a body builder. He wants a website to show his success but is not yet ready to commit.
Lynda is another former Peace Corps volunteer who has an idea for service that requires a website. She is still formulating her ideas but has asked to take advantage of the opportunity offered by The Red Lotus Way.
